Caveman Shoestore

A brief history:  Caveman Shoestore formed in late 1991, a rock band from the Northwest.  Fred Chalenor Basses, Elaine diFalco Vocals and Keyboards, Henry Franzoni Drums.  They released three CDs on Tim/Kerr Records, the third of which was entitled Caveman Hughscore and added Hugh Hopper on Bass. In 1996, Fred and Elaine moved on without Henry and released two more CDs with Hugh Hopper under the name Hughscore, which had Tucker Martine and Will Dowd on drums. The original Caveman Shoestore trio reunited and released a sixth CD entitled Super Sale on Buildabuzz Records in 2005. A seventh CD entitled Frankensongs is finished and release is planned for 2010.

Caveman's a rock band, sometimes we do some different stuff with rhythm and harmony, rocking in our own way, like everybody else. Sometimes we play music in straight 4/4, and you can dance to it, but often we feature odd times, polyrhythms, dissonance, and therefore commit commercial suicide. We are unhinged, unrepentant, and uncompromising.
